Brewery Ommegang Kicks off Nirvana IPA Launch with Growlers, NYC Growler Store
Craft beer lovers, this one’s for you. In celebration of its new Nirvana IPA, which launches April 20 in the tri-state area, Brewery Ommegang is offering limited edition growlers and opening a Growler Store in NYC from April 13-19. There will also be a chance for consumers to taste the beer before the April 20 launch; the first 300 to purchase their growlers online at IFoundNirvana.com will receive an invite for two to a tasting event held at the Growler Store.
The Growler Store will be located at 40 Wooster Street in Soho and will be a venue for consumers to purchase growlers, pick up their online orders and get their growlers personally engraved by calligrapher Ken Brown. In addition to attending the pre-launch tasting events, the first 300 people to purchase their growlers online at IFoundNirvana.com will also get their growler signed by the Ommegang Brewmaster, Phil Leinhart.
After the beer launches, Ommegang will be encouraging New Yorkers to find Nirvana. The “I Found Nirvana” Sweepstakes will run May 1 through June 30, encouraging people to share photos of Ommegang Nirvana (tap handles, posters, coasters, logos and more) or what Nirvana in New York means to them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #NirvanaSweeps. There will be a prize every day for two months that speaks specifically to “New York Nirvana,” such as a free dog walking services, storage space or food delivery services.
