This week we had life-size fun launching the EMC VSPEX BLUE hyper-converged infrastructure appliance at VMworld 2015. Overlooking the San Francisco skyline, the reception incorporated the product’s “teamwork” theme by featuring an inflatable human foosball field, providing an interactive way for attendees to relax while simultaneously testing their ability to work as a team.
Throughout the event, world-class professional foosball players instructed and challenged attendees at a series of standard foosball tables. DaMarcus Beasley, a member of four United States FIFA World Cup teams, was also on hand to further support the product’s underlying focus on teamwork.
“The event was a smashing success—thanks again to GNF’s creativity, support and hard work. This is the first time I’ve worked an event where I didn’t feel like I had to scramble and check up on everything—you guys had everything under control and it was ran perfectly. I can’t tell you how many times I heard, ‘Whose idea was this???’ [in a good way, of course].” — EMC
GNF also worked with EMC in the past to introduce its unified storage solution, the VNXe. Check out some photos below and see more on our Facebook page!

Eighteen states, 15 cities, 14 days and hundreds of MINI Coopers: Welcome to MINI TAKES THE STATES 2014.
MTTS is one of the largest road rally events, bringing together MINI owners from all over the country for one epic road trip. This year’s route kicked off in San Francisco with Tony Hawk last weekend and runs cross-country, ending in Boston on August 10. The tour includes events each night, including bowling in the world’s largest bowling alley in Reno, keeping it weird in Austin, rocking out at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland and much, much more. Peeps Minis will be there for all of them as GNF manages the Peeps Minis-sponsored MINI and its driving team. They will be spreading the word, and the taste, as they sample New Peeps Minis at all the stops.
These MINI drivers know that every day is a holiday, especially on tour with hundreds of your favorite car. Keep up with what’s happening on the road on MINI’s MTTS Tumblr.
Not surprisingly, Stride’s 2nd year as a Dew Tour sponsor ended on a high note…10,000 feet high as a matter fact. We were happy to be in Breckinridge, CO this past weekend as the weather was incredible and the excitement in the crowds was electric.
People were anxious to see Shaun White compete as he works his way toward Sochi. At the village, Stride entertained the masses with activities such as slacklining (a true crowd pleaser!), Stride’s popular mobile game Gumulon and offering thousands of samples of Stride’s Shaun White gum and as well as buttons that helped support Shaun in his events. A successful end to 2013!
Stride’s 5th Dew Tour event, 2nd in San Fran, was met with awesome weather and outrageous tricks – including the ones at our POD located in the Dew Tour Village! Our Stride slackliners were out in full force, teaching consumers how to master the slackline and putting on crazy shows at the Stride Slackline Jam where Alex Mason took home the big check. Our GNF sampling teams were on the grounds giving away FREE full packs of new delicious Golden Fruit gum and our GNF POD management teams were helping consumers chew their way through levels of Stride’s mobile game, Gumulon…the first ever “chew activated” app game. All in all, another great weekend with Stride at the Dew Tour. Looking forward to Breckenridge in just a few short months. We’re gettin’ our snow gear ready for some crazy Superpipe and Big Air action.
GNF and TAG Heuer King of Prussia Plaza and Garden State Plaza boutiques had a fabulous turn out for the exclusive private screening of Ron Howard’s newest film, RUSH. TAG Heuer , an official partner of RUSH, offered tickets to their most loyal clientele in an effort to increase traffic to stores.
Those that attended the exclusive screening were greeted by male models donning beautiful TAG Heuer leather racing jackets. Before the movie, our ticket holders received a champagne reception and a gift bag containing a TAG Heuer hat, boutique key hanger, black travel watch pouch and a 50 Years of Carrera pamphlet detailing the history of the Carrera line of watches. These select group of clients were also the first to learn of a special holiday promotion and had the opportunity to watch a short documentary summarizing TAG Heuer ’s history with Formula 1 racing.
GNF held two of these exclusive events: Regal Cinemas Stadium IMAX Theater in King of Prussia, PA and AMC Garden State 16 in Paramus, NJ.
As the season of giving begins, so does GNF’s efforts to pair Virgin Mobile’s Assurance Wireless, a government benefit program supported by the federal Universal Service Fund, with other charitable organizations in an effort to reach a shared target.
Our first pairing was just before the Labor Day weekend, with the well-established Meals On Wheels (MOW) organization at their Annual Conference and Common Goods Expo in Boston, MA.
The goal? To distribute branded tote bags that included turnkey materials for the MOW representatives to use when speaking with their clients about the Assurance Wireless program. The totes were prepackaged with state specific applications, prepaid envelopes and fliers – an easy tool kit of sorts for the representatives to bring back to their communities. In addition to the totes, our staff and brand mangers spoke to the representatives about the real benefits of Assurance Wireless and how their clients’ lives could improve with just a single application.
Great results from our first event – looking forward to more this year!
The 2013 Dew Tour kicked-off this past weekend in Ocean City, MD and the Stride brand was out in full force. Over the course of the 5-day event, thousands of consumers made their way to the Stride Experience where they were able to watch slacklining competitions and actually tryout the sport themselves.
Slacklining has been taking the world by storm and Stride brought it to the beach again this year, once again making it the focal point of the sponsor village. With a little encouragement from Stride, consumers stepped-out of their comfort zone to test their balance and athletic skills while trying to traverse the 2-inch wide slackline. Also, throughout the day, the pro-slackliners from Gibbons Slackline put on shows for the crowd and held a Stride Slackline Jam with championship slackliners from all over the world. Everyone who tried the slackline got their photo taken and immediately emailed off to them so they could share it with friends via social media.
Plus, Stride brought their new iOS app, Gumulon, to the Stride pod for people to play. It’s the first every chew-activated game. By using one of the iPads at the gaming area, people could chew stride as they faced the iPad to move Ace, the game character, through the world of Gumulon and escape getting eaten by the monster. And as if that wasn’t enough, it was almost impossible to find someone who wasn’t chewing Stride because of the thousands of samples we handed-out around the Dew Tour venue.
