We spent the day today at the Mondelēz kitchens with our Honey Maid Prize Winning Chef, Leah, from Allentown, PA. Leah won the Made Co. Honey Maid Recipe contest with her scrumptious “Just My Size Peanut Butter Pie.”
Her miniature pies featured a Honey Maid crust, with a multi-layer taste explosion of chocolate ganache, peanut butter, and a peanut butter cream topping.
Leah, along with the culinary experts at Mondelēz, recreated her winning recipe for a professional photo shoot. The recipe will be featured on the Nabisco Honey Maid package and web site.
The prize experience for Leah included meeting the Honey Maid brand manager, product development team, the sensory lab team and the consumer insights team all so she could get a sense of how Honey Maid products get made.
Stride’s 5th Dew Tour event, 2nd in San Fran, was met with awesome weather and outrageous tricks – including the ones at our POD located in the Dew Tour Village! Our Stride slackliners were out in full force, teaching consumers how to master the slackline and putting on crazy shows at the Stride Slackline Jam where Alex Mason took home the big check. Our GNF sampling teams were on the grounds giving away FREE full packs of new delicious Golden Fruit gum and our GNF POD management teams were helping consumers chew their way through levels of Stride’s mobile game, Gumulon…the first ever “chew activated” app game. All in all, another great weekend with Stride at the Dew Tour. Looking forward to Breckenridge in just a few short months. We’re gettin’ our snow gear ready for some crazy Superpipe and Big Air action.
We’re at Comic Con today in New York along with 125,000 attendees and the winner of the Honey Maid Made Co contest to create a new super hero character. GNF forged the strategic partnership between Honey Maid and SuperHeroStuff.com (the largest superhero store online), for this unique contest.
The goal: offer the winner a one-of-a-kind experience to see their creation get made. Our winner Lilly, from Austin, TX, had the good fortune of traveling to NYC with her mom to Comic Con. Lilly, working side-by-side with renowned DC Comics artist and writer Mike Norton, transformed her winning design into a bona fide superhero character: “Felice,” with side-kick “Meeka.” SuperHeroStuff will produce limited edition T-Shirts and Posters featuring Felice and Meeka for Lilly to show-off to all of her friends. Big thanks to Honey Maid, SuperHeroStuff and Mike Norton for showing Lilly how stuff gets made!
Keep your eyes peeled – as of this past weekend, Boost Mobile and GNF are back on the road celebrating a deal of epic proportions! Boost Mobile is offering consumers who switch from their current carrier, a FREE Android phone or $100 off ANY phone. To celebrate this lucrative deal Boost Mobile is giving consumers the opportunity to win even more cash! Over the next month, the GNF team is stopping in Atlanta, Houston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando, Miami, South Texas, Riverside/San Bernardino, Orange County, Lower Central Valley and San Diego Boost Mobile stores with the Boost Mobile money machine. Participants are invited to step into the machine in hopes of winning a $25 gift card or a Boost Mobile T-Shirt. If you see the Boost Mobile truck with a “Follow Me to the Cash” sign you’re only minutes away from one of our events!
In several markets, street teams are also hitting the ground to let everyone know about this great deal. They’ll be in front of competitor locations telling consumers to keep their cash and their number by switching to Boost Mobile!
GNF and TAG Heuer King of Prussia Plaza and Garden State Plaza boutiques had a fabulous turn out for the exclusive private screening of Ron Howard’s newest film, RUSH. TAG Heuer , an official partner of RUSH, offered tickets to their most loyal clientele in an effort to increase traffic to stores.
Those that attended the exclusive screening were greeted by male models donning beautiful TAG Heuer leather racing jackets. Before the movie, our ticket holders received a champagne reception and a gift bag containing a TAG Heuer hat, boutique key hanger, black travel watch pouch and a 50 Years of Carrera pamphlet detailing the history of the Carrera line of watches. These select group of clients were also the first to learn of a special holiday promotion and had the opportunity to watch a short documentary summarizing TAG Heuer ’s history with Formula 1 racing.
GNF held two of these exclusive events: Regal Cinemas Stadium IMAX Theater in King of Prussia, PA and AMC Garden State 16 in Paramus, NJ.
